Grandparents Project.

This Project holds a special place in my work.

Photographs of parents and grandparents are more than portraits—they are an important part of our personal history. A record of love, presence, and the everyday moments that shape a family’s story.

These images are not just about how someone looked, but about what they meant to the people around them. Together, we turn fleeting moments into something lasting—something that can be held onto, shared, and passed forward.

My hope is that these photographs bring you back to the time you shared with them, and the feeling of having them close.

Forever in dedication to Eric & Joyce (Nana & Pa).

Each session is an unhurried 90-minute documentary experience, centred around everyday life as it naturally unfolds. There is no need to prepare or perform — just the familiar rhythms of home, whether that’s a cup of tea, an afternoon television program, or time spent in the garden.

Old photo albums can be brought out and shared, allowing memories and stories to gently resurface as part of the session.

The final part of the session is reserved for grandchildren to visit if possible, creating space for those intergenerational moments to be documented as they happen.

Investment

Grandparents sessions begin at $850, with the option to add a handcrafted heirloom album to preserve the story in print.
